As a kid I was obsessed with the stone carvers’ sheds on the grounds of the Washington National Cathedral. I’ve been curious ever since about how to make meaning-laden, sacred things.

I am on the founding team of a tech startup that is building a magical new way for people to live life more on purpose.

I use inspiration, strategy, and presence to bring soul to secular places. I am a co-founder of Sacred Design Lab and the Impact Lab at On Being. I write about the spiritual infrastructure of the future. I taught and was a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School.
